The Access area controls who can use Lextree and what they can reach. Account admins manage it under Admin → Access. It has three sections: People, Groups, and Records.

People

Manage your members, invitations, and each person’s access. Invite someone by email, see who’s pending, and set what each person can do.

Access is granted per module through roles:

Editor — can view and edit records in that module.
Viewer — can view but not change records in that module.
Guest — limited, invitation-based access (for example, an outside collaborator).

On Pro , everyone with access to a module is an Editor there. Per-module Editor/Viewer roles and the Guest role become available on Business and Enterprise plans.

Data Tools

Data Tools lets account admins work with data in bulk instead of one record at a time. Open Admin → Data Tools. It lists every dataset in your account — your Records (Organizations, People, Contacts) and each module’s datasets — with two actions each.

Bulk edit

The edit action opens a dataset’s records for editing in bulk. Use it to correct or update many records at once.

Import

The import action lets you upload a file to create records in bulk for that dataset. It’s the fast way to bring existing data into Lextree or load a large batch at once.

Logs

Logs give account admins an audit history of what’s happened in the account. Open Admin → Logs. There are three: the Activity Log, the Access Control Log, and the Sign-in Log.

Activity Log

Investigate data changes across your modules — which records were created, edited, or deleted, when, and by whom.

Access Control Log

Review user access and permission changes — invitations, role assignments, and group changes.

Review successful user sign-ins to the account.

Settings

Settings is where account admins configure how Lextree works for everyone in the account. Open Admin → Settings to reach these areas.

Modules

Enable or disable product modules. Turning a module on adds it to the navigation for everyone with access; turning it off hides it — your data stays put. Module enable/disable is available on all plans.

Field Settings

Customize the fields on any record type — add, remove, rename, and reorder fields to match how your team works. Available on all plans. See Custom Fields for the field types you can use.
