Calendar

The Calendar is where you see your events — deadlines, renewals, meetings, and reminders — laid out by date. Lextree gives you a per-record view and an everything-at-once view. You can also subscribe to a feed from your own calendar app.

The record calendar

Every record’s detail page has a Calendar section listing the events attached to that record. This is the place to see and add the dates for one contract, entity, or policy. (See Events for how to add and configure them.)

The Calendar activity view

Activity → Calendar gathers events from every record you can access into one calendar. Each event shows its full record-identity chain — the organization, then any intermediate records, then the record type, joined with “›” (for example, “Acme Corp › Acme Subsidiary › Contract”) — so you can scan upcoming compliance deadlines across your whole portfolio. The header’s Filter button narrows the view by three facets: Modules, Notifying me, and Organization.

Subscribe from your own calendar app

Two options move your Lextree events into your own calendar app: a live feed that stays current, or a one-time file you export and import elsewhere.

Live subscription feed

You can generate a personal iCal feed URL and subscribe to it from Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar, or any app that supports iCal. The feed:

• includes events from January 1 of last year onward that you have access to (it respects your permissions, but doesn’t reach further back than that),
• updates automatically as events are added, changed, or removed,
• lists each event with the same record-identity chain — organization › intermediate records › record type — shown in the calendar view,
• lets you see Lextree deadlines alongside your personal and work calendars.

Treat the subscription URL like a credential: it’s personal, shown once when you generate it, and can’t be retrieved again afterward. If you need it again later — or if it’s ever leaked — Reset subscription URL issues a fresh link and immediately breaks the old one, so any calendar app still subscribed to the old URL stops updating.

One-time .ics download

Download .ics file saves a snapshot of the events currently visible as a file you can import into any calendar app. Unlike the subscription feed, it won’t update afterward — it’s a fixed export for a moment in time, not a way to stay in sync.

What you can see

The calendar shows only events on records you’re allowed to view. On Enterprise plans, access group scoping further limits the records — and therefore the events — that appear.
