Get Help
Last updated: October 19, 2026
The help menu is on every page of Lextree, whatever your role or plan. Use it to open these guides, or to send a question or a problem straight to the Lextree team.
The help menu
Click the ? icon in the header, beside the notifications bell. The menu has two parts: a link to the help guides, and a short form for asking us directly. The Getting Started card on your Dashboard links to the guides too.
Read the help guides
Help guides, at the top of the menu, opens these guides in a new browser tab and leaves the page you were on untouched.
Request help
Under Request help in the same menu:
- Choose a Category. The options are Question, Something’s not working, Billing or account, Data issue, Feature request, and Other.
- Describe what you need under What do you need help with? The message can run to 4,000 characters. Tell us what you were doing and what went wrong. Leave out passwords and other people’s personal details.
- Click Send request.
When the request is sent, the menu says Request sent and shows the address we’ll reply to. That is the email on your account, which you can check on your Profile. The menu adds that a member of the Lextree team reads every request. The Send another button clears the message and keeps the category, so you can write a new one.
You don’t need to describe where you were. Each request carries the page you sent it from, your subscription’s plan, and your role, which shows us the context you were in. It doesn’t include the contents of your records.
If the menu closes by accident, the form keeps what you typed, so a half-written message isn’t lost.
When a request fails
Two messages can appear instead of Request sent:
- Please wait a moment before sending another request. Requests have to be spaced a little apart. Wait briefly and send again.
- We couldn’t send your request. Try again, or email team@lextree.ai. What you typed stays in the form. Click Try again, or email team@lextree.ai with the same text.
Before you write in, Why can’t I see something? covers the usual reasons a module, record, button, or email is missing.
