Certifications

Last updated: July 25, 2026

The Certifications module tracks the third-party standards your organization holds or asserts — voluntary certifications, industry accreditations, and compliance attestations made to customers, regulators, or partners.

What Certifications tracks

  • Business Certifications — third-party certifications for quality, security, privacy, or industry standards (ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and the like), with issue and expiration dates.
  • Accreditations — industry or professional accreditations held by the organization (not individuals).
  • Attestations — compliance attestations and representations your organization makes to third parties.

Adding a record

Creating or editing records requires Editor access to the Certifications module.

Open the record type, click New, fill in the details (issuer, scope, dates), and Save. Open the record to attach the certificate file and set renewal reminders.

Who can access certifications

  • Viewing requires access to the Certifications module.
  • Creating or editing requires Editor access.

On Enterprise plans, organizational unit (OU) scoping limits records to entities within your assigned OUs.
