The Assets module is a registry for titled tangible assets — vehicles, aircraft, vessels, heavy equipment, and trailers. It exists to prove ownership: which assets your organization owns, the title documents that establish ownership, and any liens against them. It is not an operational asset-management tool (no location tracking, condition monitoring, or maintenance scheduling).

Each asset belongs to an owning organization.

Authority

The Authority module documents who is authorized to act for your organization — and the proof behind that authority. It answers questions like “who could sign this agreement?” and “did this person have authority on that date?” Each record points to the document that established the authority.

What Authority tracks

Open Authority from the left navigation. The module tracks several kinds of authority, each as its own record type:

Powers of Attorney — legal POAs your organization has granted to agents, including scope and duration.
Signing Authorities — who may execute documents on the organization’s behalf. A signing authority can carry authority limits (dollar or scope caps) as nested records.
Delegations of Authority — formal delegation of decision-making power from one party to another.
Agent Authorizations — designated representatives for regulatory or external dealings.

Board Governance

The Board Governance module tracks the governance bodies, people, meetings, and decisions behind your organizations — corporations, nonprofits, and LLCs with formal governance. It’s where you record who sits on the board, when they meet, and what they decide.

What Board Governance tracks

Boards — governance bodies (Board of Directors, Advisory Board, Supervisory Board).
Board Members — individuals serving on a board, each with one or more appointment terms (start, end, role).
Officers — corporate officers, each with their own appointment terms.
Committees — subgroups of a board (Audit, Compensation, Nominating), with their committee members and appointment terms.
Meetings — records that a board or committee meeting occurred, with attendees tracked for quorum and compliance.
Resolutions — decisions or actions taken by a board or committee.
Board Consents — written consents in lieu of a meeting.
D&O Questionnaires — annual director-and-officer disclosure tracking (status, not the content itself).
Corporate Seals — custody and usage tracking for corporate seals.

Certifications

The Certifications module tracks the third-party standards your organization holds or asserts — voluntary certifications, industry accreditations, and compliance attestations made to customers, regulators, or partners.

What Certifications tracks

Business Certifications — third-party certifications for quality, security, privacy, or industry standards (ISO, SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and the like), with issue and expiration dates.
Accreditations — industry or professional accreditations held by the organization (not individuals).
Attestations — compliance attestations and representations your organization makes to third parties.

Contracts

The Contracts module tracks your contractual relationships — who they’re with, their key dates and status, how they’ve been amended, and the paperwork behind them. (It tracks the relationship and its compliance dates, not redlining or negotiation.)

Employment

The Employment module tracks government-mandated employment compliance filings and their deadlines — the periodic reports your organization must submit to federal and state agencies. It focuses on the filing obligations, not HR or payroll.

What Employment tracks

Open Employment from the left navigation to see your employment filings. Each filing records its type, jurisdiction, period, and status. Typical examples:

Federal filings — EEO-1 reports, ACA reporting (1094-C / 1095-C), OSHA 300 logs.
State filings — new-hire reporting, unemployment insurance, and other state-specific reports.

Grants

The Grants module tracks grant compliance obligations from both sides — funding your organization receives, and funding it provides to others.

What Grants tracks

Grants received (you’re the grantee):

Grant Received — a grant award your organization received from a foundation, agency, or other grantor.
Reports to Grantor — the reports you must submit back to the funder, with their due dates.
Grant Restrictions — use restrictions and compliance requirements attached to the funding.

The Legal Entities module records each company, subsidiary, or other legal entity your organization owns. For each one, it holds formation details, the jurisdictions where it’s registered, its governing and financial documents, and the filings that keep it in good standing.

The Licenses & Permits module tracks the government-issued authorizations your business needs to operate — and keeps their renewal deadlines in view.

What Licenses & Permits tracks

Open Licenses & Permits from the left navigation. The module covers:

Business Licenses — general operating licenses from city, county, state, or federal authorities. Each license tracks its renewal periods with supporting evidence.
Permits — regulatory authorizations for specific activities or locations (operating, building, environmental, health, and similar permits).
Professional Licenses — individual credentials for regulated professions (attorneys, CPAs, medical professionals), linked to both the person and the organization.

The module also covers industry registrations — SEC Investment Adviser, FINRA Broker-Dealer, and state producer licenses. Track these as business licenses or permits.

Real Estate

Treasury

Bank Accounts — deposit and operating accounts, each with their authorized signatories.
Credit Facilities — loans, lines of credit, and other debt, with their parties (borrowers, co-borrowers, guarantors), amendments, and covenants (each covenant tracking its certification submissions).
Security Interests — collateral pledged to secure financing, with their UCC filings, continuations, and amendments.
Guarantees — corporate guarantees issued or received, with exposure tracking.
Letters of Credit — standby and commercial LCs with expiration tracking and amendments.

Trust Governance

The Trust Governance module governs and administers your trust entities. It tracks who serves as trustee or protector, who the beneficiaries are, and how the trust has been amended over time. The module applies to legal entities whose type is Trust, extending each entity with trust-specific governance.

Trusts — trust-specific metadata extending the legal entity (trust type, trust date, grantor).
Trustees — current and former trustees, with their powers and succession order, each with appointment terms.
Trust Protectors — individuals with oversight powers over the trust, each with appointment terms.
Trust Beneficiaries — beneficiaries and their interests in the trust.
Trust Amendments — modifications, restatements, and decanting records.

Vendors

The Vendors module tracks your third-party suppliers and service providers. It holds the compliance documents you collect from them and records whether each vendor is qualified to do business with you. It covers insurance certificates, tax documentation, licenses, and certifications — plus the onboarding approval that ties them together. It does not handle payments, procurement, or contract negotiation (vendor contracts live in the Contracts module).

A vendor is a profile on an organization or person. The underlying record holds the name and address used across modules, and the vendor profile adds vendor-specific details.
