Licenses & Permits
Last updated: July 25, 2026
The Licenses & Permits module tracks the government-issued authorizations your business needs to operate — and keeps their renewal deadlines in view.
What Licenses & Permits tracks
Open Licenses & Permits from the left navigation. The module covers:
- Business Licenses — general operating licenses from city, county, state, or federal authorities. Each license tracks its renewal periods with supporting evidence.
- Permits — regulatory authorizations for specific activities or locations (operating, building, environmental, health, and similar permits).
- Professional Licenses — individual credentials for regulated professions (attorneys, CPAs, medical professionals), linked to both the person and the organization.
The module also covers industry registrations — SEC Investment Adviser, FINRA Broker-Dealer, and state producer licenses. Track these as business licenses or permits.
Adding a record
