Sub-Processors

Berkman LLC (“Berkman”) uses the third-party service providers listed below to run the Lextree compliance management platform. Each of them processes personal data on behalf of Lextree customers, which makes each one a sub-processor. This page is the authoritative list of Berkman’s sub-processors.
The list covers providers that process personal data on Customer’s behalf in delivering the Platform or related support. Encryption or temporary processing does not by itself exclude a provider. The list does not cover:
- Providers of software that Berkman runs on its own infrastructure, including analytics, customer support, and mailing-list tools, where those providers do not receive personal data through Berkman’s use of the software. This exclusion does not extend to third-party infrastructure providers that process Customer Data on Customer’s behalf.
- Providers used solely for functions that do not process personal data on Customer’s behalf, such as hosting source code without Customer Data. A provider performing another function that does process such data is included for that function.
- Providers Berkman uses for its own business purposes, such as website analytics on lextree.ai and payment processing for Berkman’s own invoices. Those are described in the Privacy Policy.

Notice of Changes and Objection
Berkman will update this page and notify affected Customers by email to their notice contacts under Terms Section 20.7 at least thirty (30) days before a new sub-processor begins processing personal data on their behalf. Customer may designate an additional notice contact by emailing team@lextree.ai.
If Customer objects to a new sub-processor on reasonable data protection grounds, Berkman will work with Customer in good faith to resolve the objection. If the parties cannot resolve it, Customer may terminate the affected services without penalty and receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees for the unused period of those services. Fees for services already provided remain payable.
